While the lory is a member of the parrot family, its natural diet is uniquely based on nectar - in the past, this has made domestic lories hard to feed! Seed and nut blends are not appropriate (but lories will eat soaked figs and the occasional treat of
millet spray). Our lory food provides the daily nectar diet needed (a liquid diet means you'll need an
absorbent cage liner too!). Lory food should be supplemented with fresh fruit, vegetables, even cooked egg. Provide a
mineral block as well.
